Notice on Measures to Tighten the Entry of Passengers Transiting via a Third Country to Beijing, China

In order to prevent and control the cross-border spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, starting from 0:00, 27 January, 2021, the Beijing Municipal Government has decided to take measures to tighten the entry of passengers from a third country transiting by direct international commercial flights to Beijing via the cities such as Seoul, Phnom-penh, Vienna, Athens, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Bangkok, Vancouver, and Toronto.

Only citizens of the said countries and the locally dwelling Chinese nationals are eligible for boarding the direct international commercial flights to Beijing, China. For the passengers of the direct flights to Beijing, China, the Chinese Embassies or Consulates concerned will strictly verify the applicant's travel history and reject the issuance of International Health Code or Electronic Health Declaration Form to those who fail to meet the requirements. All passengers shall fill in the Letter of Commitment on Taking Direct Flights to Beijing before boarding.

Those who conceal information such as their travel history and health status will be held responsible for legal liabilities accordingly.
