Q: It is learnt that certain Indian organizations have sent so-called "complaint" to the UN Human Rights Council to ask China to "compensate the international community for the losses caused by COVID-19". Do you have any comment?

A: I have noted the so-called "complaint" made by certain organizations which are ridiculous and absolutely not worth refuting. China has made remarkable achievement in fighting the epidemic which is obvious to all and there is broad consensus among the international community. China and India are working together and overcoming the difficult time. I would like to tell certain organizations that, any effort to seek popularity by eyeball-catching nonsense in the name of fight against the epidemic, is totally wrong calculation and wishful thinking.
