Brief Introduction of the Press Center
Located at Sanya Marriott Resort & Spa, the Press Center is open from April 12 to 14 to help the journalists to register and collect the Press Cards, attend the news briefings, and get relevant documents and materials, etc.

Press Conferences
Two news briefing rooms are available for delegations on a "first come, first served" basis at the Press Center.
The time, venue and subject of each press conference will be posted on the bulletin boards and the special column "BRICS Leaders Meeting 2011" on the homepage of the Chinese Foreign Ministry website (www.mfa.gov.cn).
Internet
Free WLAN access and computers with free broadband internet access are available at the Press Center.
Telephone, Fax and Photocopy
Telephones with fax, photocopy machines, scanners, TV sets and DVDs are provided free of charge at the Working Area of the Press Center for Journalists.
Host Signal
Free host signal is provided. The signal format is SDI Digital Video with Embedded Audio and the signal interface is BNC (Q9), PAL.
Broadcasters should bring their own PAL standard record equipment.

Satellite Transmission (Tape Play-out Sevice)
Please make reservation with the Press Center for satellite transmission service at your own cost.
The Press Center provides the connection on a "first come, first served" basis. Broadcasters should bring their own equipment for tape play-out. The signal format is SDI Digital Video with Embedded Audio and the connection interface is BNC (Q9).

Documents and materials on the Meeting and China with multilingual versions are available at the Press Center.
Media booths
Media booths are open for booking on a "first come, first served" basis. Each booth is about 9m2 and equipped with power supply, internet access, audio/video outputs, office furniture and etc. The media booths can be used from April 12 to 14, and the rental fee of each booth is about 2500 yuan RMB per day. Transportation
Shuttle buses are available from the Press Center to the event venue during the Meeting. Please contact the information desk of the Press Center for the time schedule and routes.
