The Press Center of BRICS Leaders Meeting will issue press cards to the accredited journalists as from 9:00, April 12, 2011.

Foreign journalists travelling with official delegation shall contact the Press officer of the delegation for press cards.

Other journalists shall collect the press cards at the Information Desk of the Press Center (Grand Ballroom, Marriott Sanya) with valid ID documents. The details are as follows:

1. Resident foreign journalists in China need to present resident Press Cards issued by the Information Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

2. Visiting foreign journalists need to present passports with valid J-2 visa.

3. Chinese journalists (including those from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan) need to present Press Cards issued by competent authorities.

4. Chinese assistants working for foreign media organizations need to present Chinese Employee Cards issued by foreign services authorities.

Please wear the press card for access to the Center. Special badges will be required for specific event venues and restricted areas.
