On June 28, 2014, Xi Jinping attended the commemorative ceremony marking the 60th anniversary of the release of the "Five Principles of Peaceful Co-existence" in Beijing and delivered a keynote speech. The commemoration was chaired by Li Keqiang. Zhang Dejiang and Yu Zhengsheng were present at the event. President U Thein Sein of Myanmar and Vice President Mohammad Hamid Ansari of India also attended the commemoration.
