In the evening of September 19, 2014, President Xi Jinping returned to Beijing after attending the 14th meeting of the Council of Heads of Member States of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) and concluding his state visits to Tajikistan, Maldives, Sri Lanka and India.

Xi Jinping’s wife Mme. Peng Liyuan, Wang Huning, Member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and Director of the Policy Research Office of the CPC Central Committee, Li Zhanshu, Member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Member of the Secretariat of the CPC Central Committee and Director of the General Office of the CPC Central Committee, State Councilor Yang Jiechi and other delegation members arrived by the same plane.

On the noon of September 19 local time, Xi Jinping left for China after concluding his state visit to India. Upon leaving New Delhi, Minister of Human Resource Development Smriti Zubin Irani of India, Indian Ambassador to China Ashok K Kantha and others bade them farewells at the airport.
