Mr. Zhang Yue, Charge d' Affaires of China Embassy in India Attends the Launch of New Edition of India-China Chronicle

On August 11, Mr. Zhang Yue, Charge d’ Affaires of China Embassy in India attended the launch of the new edition of bimonthly India-China Chronicle featuring 60 years of diplomatic relations between China and India published by the India China Economic and Cultural Council. Mr Zhang also participated in the following discussion on "Avenues of Deepening India-China Relations" and responded to queries on strengthening the economic cooperation and cultural exchanges between the two countries.

Indian Member of Parliament and ex-Minister of state for External Affairs Dr. Shashi Tharoor, Secretary of Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Mr. Dinesh Rai, Joint Secretary of East Asian Division of Ministry of External Affairs Mr. Gautam Bambawale, President of India China Economic and Cultural Council Mr. Abid Hussain and Commercial Counsellor of China Embassy in India Mr. Peng Gang were present at the function together with nearly 100 guests from Chinese and Indian enterprises and media.

The India China Economic and Cultural Council is a non-governmental organization supported by the Rajiv Gandhi Foundation of India. Ever since it was set up in 1997, the Council has been dedicated to promoting the economic cooperation and cultural exchanges between China and India.
