China, India Hold 16th Round of Border Talks

BEIJING, June 28 (Xinhua) -- China and India on Friday held their 16th round of border talks.

State Councilor and Special Representative Yang Jiechi and Indian National Security Adviser and Special Representative Shiv Shankar Menon attended the boundary talks, exchanging ideas for solving border problems and developing bilateral relations.

The China-India special representative mechanism was established in 2003 and serves as an important platform for solving border disputes between both sides.
