Notice on the Direct Acceptance and Process of Applications for Chinese Visas and Consular Legalization by Chinese Embassy and Consulates General in India

As of October 26, 2026, the Chinese Embassy in India and the Chinese Consulate General in Mumbai will directly accept and process applications for Chinese visas and consular legalization. Relevant services within the consular district of the Chinese Consulate General in Kolkata will temporarily be handled by the Chinese Embassy in India.
