Chinese Embassy and other Chinese organizations in India donate to Tsunamis-hit regions of India

    To support the relief and rescue work of the Indian people, the Chinese Embassy in India launched a donation activity for the tsunamis-hit regions of India on the first day of the new year. All the diplomats and staff members of the Chinese Embassy keenly make donations to express their love and sympathies. On the same day, Mr. Zheng Qingdian, Charge d'Affaires ad interim of the Chinese Embassy, on behalf of the Chinese Embassy, presents a cheque of 10.8 lakhs rupees to the person in charge from The Hindu as to donate to the disaster-hit regions through The Hindu Relief Fund. The Chinese organizations and companies in India also held series of donation activities. The TCL company in India donated 1.2 million RMB and medicines and materials worth 100 thousand RMB. Huawei Telecommunications (India) donated 12 lakhs rupees and some materials. The Chinese Consulate-general in Mumbai and Chinese news agencies in India also make donations.
