Ambassador Sun Pays Visits to Employees of Chinese Companies in India

On January 23, Mr. Sun Yuxi, the new Chinese Ambassador to India paid special visits to ZTE Kangxun telecom India (P) Limited and Huawei Telecommunications (India) located in New Delhi, capital of India. He visited the office and factory areas of ZTE and offices of Huawei. He was briefed by the representatives of the two companies on their business in India and held cordial talks with them.

In the talks, Ambassador Sun fully affirmed the merits the two companies had achieved in India and pointed out that there was tremendous potential in the telecommunications market in India. Companies could make more progress only if they had long-term strategy and perseverance. He expressed that the Chinese Embassy in India would exert efforts to provide good services and information and support and help Chinese companies to expand market and develop business by serving as the bridge and solving the companies' difficulties. He hoped that the Chinese companies in India could continue to expand business and make bigger success. He also hoped that through their work, the Chinese companies in India could contribute to promoting the people-to-people contacts between India and China, deepening mutual understanding and trust, giving impetus to the distribution of commodities, boosting border trade between the two countries and furthering bilateral relationship.
