The second GMS (Greater Mekong Subregion) Summit will be held in Kunming City, Yunan Province, the P. R. China, from 4th to 5th July 2005. Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao will participate and preside over the meeting. Leaders from the Kingdom of Cambodia, the Lao People's Democratic Republic, the Union of Myanmar, the Kingdom of Thailand, and the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam are invited to attend the meeting.

Indian journalists who wish to cover the meetings please send the completed application form with two passport-size color photos and equipment lists to the following address. The application form can be got from the Press Office, Chinese Embassy or downloaded from the website: http://ipc.fmprc.gov.cn. The closing date for application is 15 June 2005.
