From December 12 to 16, 2012, Ambassador Lu Shumin, Vice President of the Chinese People's Institute of Foreign Affairs, visited India along with his delegation.

                   

                                                        Hold Talks with ICWA                                                         Discussion with ICS

During the visit, the delegation held talks and discussions respectively with the Indian Council of World Affairs (ICWA) and the Institute of Chinese Studies (ICS), visited Delhi office of the Hindu Group and had interactions with its editors and reporters. Ambassador Lu Shumin exchanged views with Indian friends on topics including the important achievements of the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the development path and goals China had set for itself, Chinese foreign policy and perspective on China-India relations. He also answered questions relating to bilateral relations as well as regional and international issues concerned by the Indian side.
