A Young Indian "China Hand" Visits Chinese Embassy in India

On the afternoon of May 29, 2012, Disha Kumar, a student of class 10 aged 15 at Kendriya Vidyalaya Rohtak, Haryana visited Chinese Embassy in India and made presentation about her hand-made model over the People's Republic of China in the form of the Great Wall.

         

Minister Mr. Wang Xuefeng and other diplomats warmly welcomed Disha and her family. The model in form of the Great Wall consisted of 8 red panels, decorated with a nice combination of hundreds of photos and LEDs. Disha, the young "China hand" spent half an hour introducing every aspects of China, starting from historical and geographical features to provinces, major cities, high technologies, culture, arts and folk custom, etc. The excellent presentation earned a round of applause from the diplomats and audience.

         

Minister Mr. Wang Xuefeng spoke highly of Disha's model and presentation. He hopes that more and more Indian people like Disha are willing to make contributions to promote the friendship between China and India. In the end, Minister Wang presented to Disha books about China and souvenirs with Chinese characteristics for her hardworking job.
